Azerbaijan and Iran discuss cooperation in media sector

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilu, in Baku.
According to Report, the meeting focused on the development of cooperation between the two countries in the media sector.
Aykhan Hajizada positively assessed the growing contacts between the spokespersons of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Iran, and noted Baku’s interest in strengthening friendly ties with Tehran.
The sides also discussed the exchange of media delegations and the expansion of cooperation between the state news agencies of the two countries.
