Assistant UN Secretary-General: Azerbaijan attaches importance to peace and soft power

Azerbaijan attaches importance to peace and soft power, Alexandre Zouev, Assistant UN Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions at the Department of Peace Operations, said at the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku on May 1, Report informs.

Zouev expressed his gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev for their initiative.

According to him, it is a positive thing that the UN structure that deals with peacekeeping operations, was invited to the forum:
