Apex mayor signs declaration on Azerbaijan's Independence Day

The mayor of American Apex, North Carolina, Jacques Gilbert, has signed a declaration on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day on October 18.

Report's local bureau informs that he handed it over to the head of the Azerbaijan Friendship Organization, Doctor of Information Technologies, Adika Igbal.

In an interview with Report, Iqbal noted that Gilbert congratulated the Azerbaijani people and Azerbaijanis living in North Carolina, stressing that he was proud to host them in Apex: "The Mayor of Apex loves Azerbaijan very much. His step is a demonstration of attention and care for our community."
