President of Poland Andrzej Duda has expressed condolences to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

Dear Mr. President,
With deep sadness, I received the news of the crash of the Azerbaijani passenger plane near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan and of the many dead and injured.
I would like to convey to you my condolences and expressions of deep sympathy for the families of the victims and those injured in this catastrophe. My country and all its citizens join them and all citizens of Azerbaijan in sincere pain and sadness.
Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest respect,"reads the Polish president's letter.
An AZAL passenger aircraft operating the Baku-Grozny flight crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan on December 25. Of the 67 people on board the airliner, 42 were citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 of Russia, 6 of Kazakhstan, and 3 of Kyrgyzstan. Thirty-eight of them died, while 29 survived.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree declaring a day of mourning in the country following the numerous loss of lives.
At the same time, by order of the head of state, a State Commission headed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov was established to investigate the causes of the plane crash.
