"The Zangazur Corridor project is also important for Armenia to feel safe. With the opening of the corridor, the distance between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will be 38 kilometres," the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Türkiye, Rashad Mammadov, told TRT Haber, Report informs.
According to him, the corridor is crucial for relations between Türkiye and Asia and Armenia’s development and future.
“Many projects bypassed Armenia in the last 30 years. These projects passed through Georgia, not Armenia, and reached Türkiye, the Black Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. If Armenia stays out of this project too, there will be no other project for it to implement,” the ambassador said.
