Ambassador: Russia interested in peaceful, prosperous South Caucasus

Russia is interested in a peaceful and prosperous South Caucasus and is ready to help normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Yevdokimov said at the fifth meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani expert council in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that the Russian side is convinced that the intervention of external forces in regional affairs is unacceptable, and all issues should and can be resolved by the states of the region themselves.
