Ambassador of Pakistan: 'We saw the destruction caused by Ganja missile attacks with our own eyes'

Pakistan values Azerbaijan's efforts in reconstructing the houses affected by the Ganja missile bombings in 2020, Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee told Report.

He said it is his second visit to Ganja, the first one was in 2020, right after the missile attack on the city.

"We saw the destruction caused by Ganja missile attacks with our own eyes," he said adding that the scars in the hearts of people who lost their relatives in these attacks will never heal.

The diplomat noted that the memorial complex in memory of civilians who died as a result of the Armenian missile attacks during the Patriotic War is the reminder of these tragic events.

"We hope that peace will be established in this region," the Pakistani ambassador said.
