Azerbaijan MFA envoy on special assignments passes away

Fakhraddin Gurbanov, ambassador on special assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, has died, Aykhan Hajizada, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service office, told Report.
Gurbanov has served as an ambassador in a number of countries until now.
He was recalled from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Croatia by the decree signed by the head of state last year.
