On December 25, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Report informs, citing presidential press service.
Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his birthday anniversary and wished him success in his activities and the best of health.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked Alexander Lukashenko for the attention and congratulations.
During the phone conversation, the sides hailed the development of bilateral friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus and expressed confidence that the bilateral ties would continue to expand.
The heads of state exchanged views on prospects for the cooperation.
