Albanian President: TAP is essential for energy supply for whole of Europe 

The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is essential not only for cooperation with the region and Azerbaijan but also for the energy supply of the whole of Europe, the President of Romania, Ilir Meta, told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, the IX Global Baku Forum is a crucial platform for discussing the current challenges of the day, security issues, as well as the pandemic and its impact on humanity and the global economy.

"At the same time, interesting discussions were held during the forum on the region where my country is located. There are similarities between the Western Balkans and the South Caucasus. Therefore, it was important to discuss how we can strengthen our cooperation, including energy security," Meta said.
