About 50% voter turnout in Azerbaijan’s liberated lands, including Khankandi, crowned the victory in the war, said Ibrahim Halil Korkmaz, a representative of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), deputy chairman of the Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) for foreign relations, Report informs.
According to Korkmaz, the most important feature of the parliamentary elections held on September 1 is that they were held for the first time in 54 polling stations in the liberated territories.
"This showed us a significant process and made us proud," he said.
