"The current complicated geopolitical situation, the Russian-Ukrainian war and the situation on other fronts make us establish close cooperation with Turkiye, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations, said at a conference on "Shusha Declaration and 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan-Turkiye diplomatic relations," Report informs.
"There are regional mechanisms developed between Azerbaijan and Turkiye. This is, for example, the Azerbaijan-Turkiye-Georgia trio. The cooperation in the "3+3" format will be difficult. There will be opportunities for Azerbaijan, and we must realize these opportunities with Turkiye," he added.
