Agenda of Turkish, Armenian special envoys' 1st meeting revealed

Armenia expects to establish diplomatic relations and open borders with Turkey through dialogue, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahan Unanyan said, Report informs via Armenpress.

The meeting of special envoys of the two countries is scheduled for January 14.

Unanyan noted that the Turkish Government supports starting a dialogue without preconditions.

The diplomat said that the special envoys will get acquainted with each other in the first meeting.

“It is hard to expect significant results from this meeting, but it will start the process,” he said.
