Abdulkadir Emin Onen: Türkiye and Azerbaijan connected by unique and special ties

Türkiye and Azerbaijan are connected by unique and special ties, Abdulkadir Emin Onen, Representative of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly Term President, Head of the Turkish Delegation to the APA, said during his speech at the meeting of the APA Standing Committees on Social and Cultural Affairs held in the Milli Majlis (Parliament), Report informs.

According to him, both fraternal nations always support each other: "We are very happy with the liberation of those territories, just as we are saddened by the occupation of Karabakh."

Abdulkadir Emin Onen said that Türkiye is ready to work together with its partners in Asia: "Our country is implementing new initiatives on this continent. Thus, Türkiye aims to implement international cooperation in a fairer manner by taking global initiatives. We have to promote cooperation on social issues in Asia. Türkiye is the country that receives the most migrants from the region. However, there is a need for joint cooperation in this matter. May long-term stability be ensured in this way."
