200th anniversary of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev celebrated at UNESCO

A photo exhibition dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the famous Azerbaijani entrepreneur and philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was opened at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, Report informs.

The event, organized jointly by the National Commission of Azerbaijan for UNESCO and the Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, was attended by Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev, Director of the UNESCO Gender Equality Department Maria Begona Lasagabaster, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Leyla Abdullayeva, representatives of diplomatic corps, businessmen, professors, journalists, and others.

At the event, guests were provided with detailed information about the life and work of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.
