Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ Rome will today play host to the 43rd UEFA Congress.
Report informs that the football organization will elect its president for the next four-year term. With the current UEFA President, Alexander Ceferin, as the only candidate for the post, the elections will be non-alternative. Ceferin's candidacy was supported by all 55 national associations that are members of the UEFA, including AFFA. For this reason, the election is only formal.
The Congress to start at 12.30 Baku time will elect 8 members to the UEFA Executive Committee.
