UEFA discloses amount of funds allocated to Azerbaijan for development of children and youth football - LIST

Baku. 24 October. REPORT.AZ/ UEFA has allocated 426 320 EUR to Azerbaijan.

Report informs referring to the UEFA official website, this amount was repaid in 2016-2017 season to finance projects related to the development of children's and youth football clubs in the championship of Azerbaijan.

UEFA divided funds allocated to 54 national associations into two places. In the 2016-2017 season, a higher amount was paid to 17 countries represented at the UEFA Youth League Group stage. Azerbaijan is among the remaining 37 countries.

National association which is behind of former USSR republics of Belarus (452300), Lithuania (433474) and Kazakhstan (431591) is ahead of 13 countries in total. Georgia (422,328) and Armenia (408,472) are among them.

Notably, last season Gabala represented Azerbaijan in the UEFA Youth League. "Red and blacks" lost to Russia's Dinamo (Moscow) in the first qualifying round with 0: 2 score at home and 0:5 in away match.
