UEFA Champions League 1/8 final draw will be held today

Baku. 12 December. REPORT.AZ/ The UEFA Champions League 1/8 final draw will be held in Nyon, Switzerland, today at 15:00.

Report informs, the draw will determine matches among 16 teams qualified from group stage.

The group winners: Arsenal (ENG), Atlético Madrid (ESP), Barcelona (ESP), Borussia Dortmund (GER), Leicester City (ENG), Juventus (ITA), Monaco (FRA), Napoli (ITA) and the group runners-up: Benfica (POR), Bayern München (GER), Bayer Leverkusen (GER), Manchester City (ENG), Paris (FRA), Porto (POR), Real Madrid (holders, ESP), Sevilla (ESP) have been included in two different seeding pots. The 1/8 final draw rules out encounter of teams representing same country as well as those qualified from the same group.

The ceremony will be held in UEFA headquarters at 15:00 Baku time. UEFA Europa League 1/8 draw will follow at 16:00.

1/8 final matches will be kicked off on February 14-15 and 21-22 of 2017. 

The group runners-up will host first games. Revenge games will take place on March 7-8 and 14-15.
