Thibaut Courtois may become the highest-paid goalkeeper

Baku. 22 December. REPORT.AZ/ English club Chelsea offered to make Thibaut Courtois the highest-paid goalkeeper in world.

Report informs referring to the Telegraph, the club offered to increase his salary from the current £100,000-a-week to £200,000 a week.

Courtois is expected to accept such lucrative offer and sign contract until June 2023. The current contract of Belgian footballer with Chelsea valid till summer 2019.

Courtois was transferred to Chelsea from Spanish Atletico for which goalkeeper played from 2011 to 2014.
