Ronaldinho banned from leaving Brazil

Football player Ronaldinho has been banned from leaving Brazil after failing to attend a court hearing in a fraud case, Report informs referring to TASS.

Ronaldinho is accused of fraud with cryptocurrencies and organizing a financial pyramid. The football player was supposed to testify before a parliamentary commission, but twice missed meetings in the 18K Ronaldinho case.

The former footballer said he didn’t show up to testify as his flight to Brasilia was canceled due to bad weather. It is reported that the federal police officers who executed the decision to confiscate the passport didn’t find Ronaldinho at home, now he must hand over the document himself.
