    Robert Prosinečki: No one can stand so much tension

    I smoke more cigarettes after becoming coach,manager of Azerbaijani national football team says

    Baku. 11 October. REPORT.AZ/ Coach of Azerbaijani national football team Robert Prosinečki has commented on his smoking.

    Report informs citing the Czech media, the Croatian expert described smoking as a disaster.

    R.Prosinečki said that smoking is a disaster: "However, I cannot get rid of smoking. On the contrary, I smoke more cigarettes after becoming coach. No one can stand so much tension. No one can guarantee that you will have high level footballer career all time. I didn't need to become a well-known coach, as I was a well-known player. I've always won as a player. I'd like to instill this factor into Azerbaijani players, too".

    The 47-year-old coach also spoke about working in Azerbaijan and stressed increasing desire in football: "My main goal in Azerbaijan is to instill the spirit of win, fighting to the end into the players. Baku is one of the cities to host EURO-2020. It plays a key role for Azerbaijan. Everyone already knows mentality of the local population. This is a sport country and people love football. This country has a great potential. Infrastructure exists and great investments are made in football. The country has many young players."
