Robert Prosinečki: Azerbaijan was not an easy rival for Croatia

"There is a good atmosphere in the team. We ensured the necessary level of self-confidence through the Nations League," head coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina national squad Robert Prosinečki said.

Report informs citing Sport.avaz.az that the 50-year-old specialist spoke at the press conference ahead of the match with Armenia at home in the first round of the EURO-2020 qualification stage.

He said they expected a hard game, but believe that they will gain three points. Robert Prosinečki noted the importance of starting the qualification stage with a win: "There are no easy encounters. I saw Kazakhstan upset Scotland, and it was not that easy for Croatia to beat Azerbaijan. In general, there are no easy rivals."

Notably, Robert Prosinečki led the Azerbaijani squad from 2014 through to 2017. It is under his leadership that Bosnia and Herzegovina has made its way to the next stage of the National League.
