Robert Bauer of Bundesliga joins Azerbaijan's Neftchi FC

Neftchi Baku, Azerbaijan’s Professional Football Club, is bolstering its team ahead of the new season by adding Robert Bauer, a former player in the German Bundesliga, Report informs.

The 29-year-old German player, skilled in both defense and midfield, will soon be officially announced as part of Neftchi Baku.

Bauer began his football career in 2014 with Karlsruhe SC in his home country. He later signed his first professional contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 in Germany, playing 48 matches there.

Subsequently, Bauer moved to Werder club for a significant transfer fee, where he played 89 matches in the German Bundesliga.

His most recent club was the Saudi Arabian team Al-Tai.

Neftchi is expected to have more new players soon.
