Real Madrid keen to sign EURO-2024 best player

Real Madrid have made Manchester City midfielder Rodri a transfer priority for next summer, says AS, Report informs via ESPN.

Rodri, 28, is one of the best players in the world and is one of the favorites for the 2024 Ballon d'Or after he picked up the Premier League Player of the Year and Euro 2024 Player of the Tournament awards.

Madrid are looking to sign Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies next summer on a free transfer, but Rodri has a contract until 2027 and would cost at least €100 million.

The player's agent, Pablo Barquero, who also represents Real Madrid legend Raúl Gonzalez, has been in talks with City over a new deal but nothing has been confirmed and speculation has increased that he could be keen to move on.
