Qarabag to hire Fenerbahçe FC player

Allegations that Fenerbahçe FC footballer Alper Potuk will continue his career in Qarabag FC are about to come true.

Report informs citing the Milliyet that the Azerbaijani representative is close to joining the 28-year-old midfielder to the staff.

Two sides have already held negotiations and achieved some agreements. The news says that the Aghdam representative cannot pay compensation for the transfer, therefore wants to hire a Turkish player. Although Fenerbahçe wants to lease Alper to Rizaspor, the player intends to stay in Qarabag FC.

Notably, Alper Potuk, who has been playing for Fenerbahçe since 2013, scored 12 goals in 152 games.
