Despite the fact that Kylian Mbappe is no longer a PSG player, the Parisian club still has problems because of its former employee, according to Le Monde, Report informs via One Football.
The French champion owes the striker a tidy sum, namely 55 million euros. These are: part of the signing bonus, the salary for the last three months, as well as the ‘ethics bonus’. Mbappe's representatives have sent a corresponding demand to PSG.
But so far it remains unsatisfied, and the striker's entourage have moved on to the next step: appealing to the French federation and UEFA. The bodies in France can impose a transfer ban on PSG because of debts owed to players.
A harsher punishment could come from UEFA, who have been approached by Mbappe's entourage through the French federation. The letter was addressed to the head of the FFF's club license committee.
This committee is responsible for issuing certificates for participation in club tournaments under the auspices of UEFA, and if a European Cup contender has problems meeting the financial criteria (which includes various debts), this body can refuse to grant PSG a license to participate in European competitions.
