Footballer of Spain’s Barcelona Lionel Messi has entered the fray as speculation over a transfer for Neymar.
Report informs citing the Marca that Argentine forward called the 27-year-old to advise him against agreeing a deal with Barcelona's rivals, instead urging him to return to the Camp Nou.
Earlier it was reported that real Madrid is leading the fight for Neymar. PSG does not want to sell the player to Barcelona because of bad relations with the Catalan club.
Notably, Neymar played for Barcelona in 2013-2017. Last season the 27-year-old striker scored 23 goals in 28 games and had 13 productive passes. His contract with the Paris club is valid until 30 June 2022.
