Lazio hitman Ciro Immobile has made history, setting a record that since 2016-17 was only achieved by Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Report informs, citing Football Italia, that the Italy international took under five minutes to break through against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
That consolidated his status as current Serie A Capocannoniere with 25 goals.
It was the third time he had scored at least 25 goals since joining Lazio in 2016-17.
During the same period, the only players to have achieved this in Europe’s top five leagues were Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, Messi at Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo between Real Madrid and Juventus.
