Guinea banned from hosting 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

Guinea was stripped of hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) because the infrastructure is not yet ready, the Confederation of African Football President Motsepe announced in Conakry, Report informs, citing foreign media.
"CAN 2025, which had been allocated to Guinea -- we are not ready as of yet in Guinea... and we should reopen the process" of allowing prospective host countries to bid, he said.
