French Interior Minister: 1550 people detained, 64 departed at Euro 2016

Baku. 11 July. REPORT.AZ/ French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that French security forces carried a total of 1,555 arrests, 64 deportation measures and 32 refusals to access during the month of the UEFA Euro 2016 Football Championship, Report informs referring to the Russian RIA Novosti.

"In one month, security forces carried a total of 1,550 arrests. 64 deportation measures and 32 refusals to access. 59 people were sentenced for real and nominal terms", B.Cazeneuve said at a briefing.

He praised law enforcement officers of working to prevent or suppress riots during the June 10-July 10 competition.
