Freiburg manager to resign at end of current season

The head coach of the Freiburg club in Germany, Christian Streich, will resign at the end of the season, the specialist said in a statement to the club's press service, Report informs.

Streich has led the Breisgauer to the Europa League three times. He also helped the club achieve immediate promotion back to the top flight following relegation at the end of the 2014/15 campaign. Streich's best finish with his long-time club came last year, when the Schwarzwälder finished the 2022/23 campaign in first place with 59 points.
