Frankfurt coach dies aged 33 after 'car veered off road, collided into tree'

German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have put out a statement following the death of coach Helge Rasche, who worked with the club's Under-19 side, at the age of 33, Report informs via The Mirror.

According to reports in Germany, his car veered off the road and collided with a tree. A number of fans have begun to pay their respects on social media in the light of the news.

"Eintracht Frankfurt is devastated by the loss of U19 head coach Helge Rasche," the club wrote on social media. "The 33-year-old lost his life in a traffic accident yesterday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends."

Rasche began his coaching career with Hallescher FC before joining Frankfurt's youth setup in 2020. He took charge of the Under-19 side in 2023 after previously coaching the Under-17s.
