A teenage goalkeeper has tragically passed away after saving a penalty for his local club in Brazil, Report informs via The Sun.
Edson Lopes, 16, collapsed to the floor after stopping a spot-kick with his chest.
He was rushed to hospital in a car from the town of Maues in the Amazon rainforest.
The journey from the rural area was complicated and reportedly took 11 hours.
Lopes sadly died on his arrival at the hospital on January 5.
Lopes had no history of heart disease and supposedly lived an active lifestyle.
