Baku. 2 May. REPORT.AZ/ Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has registered a new football club.

Report informs, the legal address of Zenit Baku FC is Baku, Binagadi district, 7th microdistrict, house 3, block 3123, apartment 107. The charter capital of the club is 10 AZN, and legitimate representative is Kenan Nazim Karimov, the former football player of the national team of Azerbaijan.

Kerimov said in his statement to Report that, the club which established this year as "Shirvan", was  renamed afterwards. He said that his aim is to perform at the I Division: "Firstly, the club created under the name" Shirvan "is mine. The club currently operates only in the main team and is at the Amateur League. We have been the winner of the group "B". We are waiting for the final stage matches. The time has not been determined yet. Our goal is to perform at I Division. If we can find sponsor, we have such intention ".

The veteran striker said the team training on the base of "Vatan" club, and matches were held at 4th square Inter Arena's. He added that the team has a playing coach.

During his career, Kenan Kerimov played for Qarabag, Shamkir, Turan, Kapaz, Gabala, Vilis, Karvan, Pambigchi, Avtomobilchi and CMSC clubs. He played 13 matches and had one goal in the national team of Azerbaijan. 42-years-old veteran forward is one of ten footballers scoring over 100 goals in the Premier League. Karimov has scored for 101 times.
