Date of Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix may change

The date of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix can change due to doubts over the possibility of holding the Chinese Grand Prix, Report informs, citing Torcedores.com.

It is not excluded that the Grand Prix held at the Shanghai circuit will be postponed due to the situation related to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

If this happens, there will be a 4-week break between the races before and after the Chinese Grand Prix. This does not benefit the organizers. In order to reduce this break to 3 weeks, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix can be held a week earlier than the scheduled date.

According to the official website of F1, Baku Grand Prix will be held on April 28-30.
