Chelsea ready to pay €50 million for Lopez

Chelsea has submitted an official offer to Barcelona for attacking midfielder Fermin Lopez.

According to Report, citing Sport.es, the “Blues” have offered €50 million for the 22-year-old player.

Sources indicate that the Catalan club is willing to consider the offer, as such a transfer could resolve Barcelona’s Financial Fair Play issues. However, the deal largely depends on the decision of the Spanish midfielder himself.

Last season, Lopez featured in 46 matches across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists. The player’s current contract with Barcelona runs until summer 2029.
