Champions League: Qarabag secure confident away win over Ferencváros

Qarabag defeated Ferencváros in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff round.

According to Report, the match at Groupama Arena ended with a 3:1 victory for the Aghdam side.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Barnabás Varga.

In the second half, the visitors equalized when Marko Janković scored in the 50th minute. Kevin Medina put Qarabag ahead in the 67th minute, and Musa Gurbanli sealed the final score in the 85th minute.

The return leg will take place on August 27 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The winner will advance to the UEFA Champions League group stage, while the losing team will continue in the main stage of the UEFA Europa League.
