Barcelona president's son detained in Madrid

One of Joan Laporta's sons was detained in Madrid shortly before the Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

He was in the Spanish capital to celebrate his birthday and had an argument in a bar, although at no moment was he violent towards his partner, as has been reported by some media.

In fact, his partner never left his side and accompanied him to the police station, where she denied any mistreatment on the part of the Barça president's son.

The information was released by El Español, who claimed that the youngster has started to shake his partner in a restaurant on called Miguel Angel on a table close to various guards from a government ministry, who advised the police.

According to the information, it was the Unit of Attention to Family and Women (UFAM) that took care of the investigations, and the young man is accused of an alleged crime of abuse and will be brought to court on Sunday.
