Azerbaijani player transferred to Portuguese Sporting first team

Baku. 25 July. REPORT.AZ/ Footballer of Azerbaijani national team and 'Sumgayit' FC Budag Nasirov has been transferred to Portugal's Sporting.

Report was told by the young midfielder's manager Vagif Heydarli.

He said that the 20-year-old player has signed a 5-year contract. Heydarli expressed his thanks to both clubs for the works, done in regard with the transfer.

In addition to the footballer and his manager, Sporting President Bruno de Carvalho also attended the signing ceremony. The manager said that Nasirov will train with the first team and play in the team, if gains success.

Official website of Sporting FC states that contract has been signed with the Azerbaijani footballer till the end of next season provided that the term can be extended until 2021. According to the contract, the 20-year-old midfielder costs 60 mln Euros.

Notably, Budag Nasirov is the second Azerbaijani footballer to play at Portuguese championship. Earlier, Khazar-Lankaran forward Elnur Jafarov signed a contract with Tondela.
