Azerbaijani national team to have another change in its squad ahead of Euro-2020 qualifier

Azerbaijan's national team faced another loss ahead of the friendly match against Bahrain and Euro 2020 qualifying match with Hungary.

Report informs that Mahir Madatov was injured in the 7th round of the Azerbaijani Premier League with Sabah within Qarabag FC. Therefore, the 23-year-old striker will not be able to play in both matches. Namik Alasgarov from Neftchi FC was invited to the national team to replace Madatov.

It was revealed that Gara Garayev (Qarabag FC player) who was injured in Dudelange match in the second round of the Europa League can play in coming matches.

Earlier, instead of the injured goalkeeper of Neftchi FC Salahat Aghaev, an invitation was sent to Mehdi Jannatov from Sumgayit.

Notably, the match against Bahrain will be held on October 9 and the match against Hungary on October 13.
