Today, the Azerbaijani national futsal team will play their first match within the elite round of the World Cup.
Report informs that Croatia will be the first rival of the national team. The match, to take place at the Gradski Vrt Arena in Osiek, will begin at 23:00 Baku time. CBC Sport will broadcast the game live. The team of Italian referees - Angelo Galante, Nicola Manzione, and Alessandro Malfer - will conduct the match. Russia and Slovakia are also in group C. By the regulations, four winners of the group within the elite round will qualify for the World Cup. Those who finish second in the group will get to the playoffs. The championship will take place in Lithuania from September 12 to October 4.
