Zhukov: CAREC - open inclusive platform for common sustainable development

The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program is an open, inclusive platform that aims to bring people, policymakers and projects together for common sustainable development, Director General of the Regional Department for Central and West Asia of the ADB, Eugene Zhukov, said at the event “Financing Greener Value Chains in the CAREC Region” within the annual meeting of the ADB, which is taking place in the capital of Georgia, according to Report’s correspondent from Tbilisi.

“Between 2001 and 2023, ADB investments amounted to $50 billion in transport, energy and trade sectors,” he said.
