USD falls below TRY 6 in Turkey for short period

Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ The exchange rate of the US dollar has fallen below TRY 6 in Turkey for a short period, Report informs citing the Turkish media.

According to the information, TRY/USD rate was 6.12 in the morning. The highest rate was 6.1368 and the lowest 5.994.

As a result of Fed’s decision on raising the interest rates from 1.75-2% to 2-2.25%, the USD has risen up to TRY 6.11 from TRY 6.06.
