Unified database of Turkic states' appraisers to be established

Baku has hosted a meeting of the Turkic States' Appraisers Association’s Council Board, Report informs.

Working groups were established to increase mutual cooperation, and prepare unified evaluation standards and a single database of appraisers of Turkic states.

The meeting was attended by the leaders and representatives of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which are members of the Council of the Association of Appraisers of the Turkic States. Russian, Belarusian and Georgian representatives also attended the event as guests .

At the meeting, discussions were held regarding the future activities of the institution and relevant decisions were made. The council’s Action Plan for 2024 was approved.

Vugar Oruj, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers, was elected the president of the council, Yasar Bahceci, the chairman of the Association of Appraisal Specialists of Türkiye, was elected vice president, and Emrullah Acar, the executive director of the Turkish Appraisers Association, was elected the chairman of the Executive Committee.

In the panel discussion of the 3rd International Forum of Appraisers of Turkic States, appraisers from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus and Georgia shared their impressions about the current state of the sector.
