Turkish central bank raises interest rate to 50%

Turkish central bank raised Thursday its key interest rate, the one-week repo auction rate, by 500 basis points, from 45% to 50%, Report informs.
The interest rate was increased from 42.5% to 45% at the meeting of the Turkish Central Bank held on January 25 this year.
