Trade turnover of Azerbaijan with European Union sharply reduced

Baku. 30 September. REPORT.AZ/ Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and EU countries decreased by 32.34% compared to January-August 2015 and amounted to 6 650,5 mln USD.

Report informs referring the State Customs Committee, during this period, the volume of exports decreased by 38.9% to 4 906,3 mln USD, while imports decreased by 3.04% to 1 744,1 mln USD. According to statistics, the total trade volume of trade turnover with EU countries owns 47.23% of the total trade turnover.The share of exports in these countries made 59.95%, while imports amounted to 29.57%.

Italy has 29.35% or 1 951,8 mln USD of trade turnover with EU countries. Export to Italy decreased by 53.94% to 1 641,4 mln USD while imports increased by 86.86% to 310.4 mln USD.
