Three American billionaires own more wealth than half of US population

Baku. 10 November. REPORT.AZ/ According to Forbes magazine, three richest Americans own more wealth than bottom half of US population combined, or 160 million people. 

Report informs referring to the Vedomosti, says a new report published by Washington based Institute for Policy Studies.

Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos, co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates and investor Warren Buffett top the American list of Forbes. Their total assets estimated at $ 263 billion, the report writes.

According to report, 25 richest Americans altogether own assets of $ 1 trillion. The list includes the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and founders of Google Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Average net worth of American family excluding the value of car makes up 80,000, noted in a document.

“If it continues that way, the worth will be accumulated in the hands of fewer people. We have been observing such tendency for decades,” writes co-author of research Josh Hoxie.
