Surplus in Azerbaijan’s 2022 consolidated budget exceeds $4 billion

Azerbaijan’s consolidated budget revenues for 2022 stood at 42,289.5 million manats ($24.88 billion), and the expenditures at 35.061 billion manats ($20.62 billion), up 24.7% and 16.9%, respectively, the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.
Consequently, the surplus amounted to 7,228.5 million manats ($4.25 billion), which is 84.3% more than in 2021.
