State budget bill for 2025 submitted to Azerbaijani Parliament

President Ilham Aliyev has submitted the 2025 state budget bill to the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) for discussion, Report informs, citing the country’s Finance Ministry.

The proposed state budget for next year includes revenues of 38.316 billion manats (just under $22.539 billion) and expenditures of 41.367 billion manats (approximately $24.334 billion), marking increases of 5.3% and 4.1% respectively over the 2024 forecasts.

Consequently, a budget deficit of over 3.051 billion manats (over $1.795 billion) is projected, which is 9% less than the previous year.
