Oil Fund increases sale of foreign currency by 47%

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold currency worth $4,525,700,000 in January-July this year.
According to the Fund, this is 47% more than in the same period last year.
In July alone, SOFAZ's currency sales amounted to $515.5 million. It is 18.5% more than in July the previous year.
Notably, in the first seven months of 2019, the Fund sold $3 billion 78.5 million.
